It is square for compactness, has a clean looking white or black body with clear blue trays, has rear mounted fan for even drying and includes aBuilt in 40 Hour Digital Timer . Dehydrating is a terrific way to preserve fruits, meats, vegetables, herbs, breads, and much more. It is a great way to make healthy, delicious and natural snacks like banana chips, fruit roll-ups, yogurt and jerky. Built in 40 Hour Digital Timer: A dehydrator works by exposing food to low drying temperatures of heat for a long periods of time in order to remove the moisture from the food. Different foods require different drying temperatures and time to correctly preserve the foods nutritional value and it's flavor. The Good4U Dehydrator has a top mounted user controllable thermostat with a Digital 40 hour timer to make sure you are using the proper temp.
